Accommodation Details Situation Public Transport

Accommodation:

The office of the national IPA secretariat on the first floor of the building as well as a meeting room and the club-house, named „IPA-STUFF“. On the 2nd floor there are 3 bedrooms (double bedrooms), a toilet and a shower are situated on the same floor. Bedlinen is available. Hand- and bath towels are not provided.

Details:

In the clubhouse „IPA-STUFF“ is a kitchenette equipped with a coffee-percolator, a refrigerator and 2 electric cooking-plates. Radio, free internet access over WIFI and a television are at person’s disposal.

Situation:

The IPA-House is in the centre of the city, right across from the Police station Commissariat Gare/Hollerich. There is a parking area for 4 cars beside the house.

Public transport:

Since March 2020 all public transport (bus, train, tram) in Luxembourg is free . Be aware that on the other hand taxis are quite expensive in Luxembourg (Uber exists, but the prices are similar to the taxi prices).

Here are some ways to reach the IPA House:

  • Bus: Nearest Bus stops are „Rue de Strasbourg – Centre Etats-Unis“ – Line 19 (2 min walk) or „Avenue de la Gare – Gare Al Avenue“ – Lines 4, 10. 13, 14, 18, 19, 23, 29, 94, 95, 98 (7 min walk)
  • Tram: Nearest Tram station is the „Paräisser Plaz“ in the Avenue de la Liberté (8 min walk)
  • Train: Nearest Train station is the Luxembourg Central Train Station on the Place de la Gare (8 min walk)

If you are landing at Luxembourg Airport at Findel, you need to take the Bus line 29 to the City and exit at the bus stop „Gare-Al Avenue – 16 stops“ (20 min drive)
